Statement of Subject

As public health systems become more complex, they will need to utilize information technologies more effectively. This is particularly important as the roles of state and local health agencies continue to evolve. Speakers will describe recent examples of partnership initiatives, including the application of information technology to public health practice, data/information transfer and communications. The roles, responsibilities, and priorities of key partners will be highlighted.
