Shape Up America! CYBERKitchen
Intended for adults, the Shape Up America! CYBERKitchen is an interactive section of Shape Up America!'s current Web site www.shapeup.org. The objective of the CYBERKitchen is to show visitors how to balance the food they eat with physical activity so that they can achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Visitors to the CYBERKitchen can discover the number of calories they need to maintain their current weight. Once visitors have set goals for weight maintenance, loss, or gain, they can choose the exercise and meals that fit within their calorie and fat guidelines. By keeping their food intake within their calorie goals, fat to less than 30% of calories and maintaining a healthy weight, they can reduce their risk of major chronic diseases including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. The Technology Games will begin at 6:30
p.m., Thursday, March 18 and end Saturday, March 20 at 10:45 a.m.
